Stays and treatments in hospital

This dataset contains variables describing hospital stays and treatments, including day cases, outpatient cases and inpatient cases . The information of stays or treatments in hospital results from the merge between the data of hospitalization declarations sent to CNS by hospitals on a monthly basis and the hospital documentation data (“Documentation et Classification des séjours hospitaliers-DCSH”), which has been operational since 2016 (first dataset refers to 2018). Thus, variables coming from DCSH are only provided from 2018 onwards, while CNS hospital declarations go back until 2012. This dataset is part of those provided by the IGSS within the framework of the Luxembourg Microdata Platform on Labour and Social Protection. All datasets offered by the IGSS are designed to be interoperable through the use of common pseudonymized identifiers, enabling the linkage of information across different datasets. All the variables in this dataset are personal data and are subject to GDPR compliant protection measures. Scope: hospital stays and treatments, including day cases, outpatient cases and inpatient cases registered in a Luxembourg hospital. Delay for providing the most recent data: current month -24. Data sources : CNS since 2012, DCSH since 2018.
