Electric power generation in Luxembourg

The ‘National Register of Power Generation Plants’ (‘RNCP’) is the central place where all power generation plants in Luxembourg are registered. While the technical platform is managed by the Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (‘ILR’), the relevant data are entered and updated in RNCP by the electricity system operator to which the production facility is connected. Various extracts of RNCP can be found below in CSV and XLSX format; they contain data that is updated at different times. For this reason, it cannot be excluded that the individual details of the different files do not fully coincide at any given time. ILR accepts no responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the data thus published. Please also note that due to the way data is collected, the information presented on this Open Data platform is never 100% up-to-date. On the contrary, the respective tables are usually updated with a delay of approximately three months.
