Dataset description

**Updated on December 18, 2025 - Statistics up to Q3 2025.** The rents presented here come from real estate ads published in the daily and specialized press, and on the real estate portal www.IMMOTOP.LU. It is not necessarily the rents actually paid by the tenants, but the rents requested by the landlords at the time of the rental of the property, before any negotiation. The Habitat Observatory publishes a series in current euros (nominal value) and a series in **EUROS CONSTANTS**: constant prices are prices in real terms, i.e. adjusted for changes in consumer prices (reflected here by the IPCN - STATEC National Consumer Price Index) in relation to a baseline or reference data. The series in constant euros therefore describes the change in rents announced after taking into account inflation on consumer prices.
