Table 'Asylum Requests; nationality, gender and age & #039; contains data on the number of asylum applications lodged per month, quarter and year, distinguishing by nationality, sex and age class (up to 18 years and 18 years and above) of the asylum seeker. In addition to the total number of requests, the first requests are also included. This distinction could not be made before 2007. The figures refer to asylum applications made by persons of all ages. As soon as more than 50 first asylum applications of a nationality are submitted in a year, this nationality is listed separately in the table.
