Care products in second line or specialised mental health care outside the Diagnosis Treatment Combinations (01-01-2011-01-01-2015)

This file is part of a set of files that relate to treatments within mental health care, such as those recorded in the DBC system and in other declarable care products. For 2014 this was the second-line HGZ, as from 2014 this is the specialised GGZ. DBC stands for Diagnosis Treatment Combination. A DBC care product is a package of care with information about the diagnosis and treatment that a patient receives. These are mainly healthcare products that are described in the basic health insurance package. Care takes place in mental health care institutions and freely established practices. The files are based on the data provided by the institutions to the DBC Information System (DIS), managed by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). There are 4 different files: a file with DBC pathways and care pathways (DBCGGZ trajectoriesJJJJTABVV), A file with the provided care profile (DBCGGZSuppliedZorgprofileJJJTABVV) for a DBC-route, a file with the side diagnoses of a DBC-route (DBCGGZDIAGNOSENJJJJJTABVV) and a file with other healthcare products (DBCGGZOverigeZorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorgzorg When a patient comes to a practice or institution with a care request, the DBC registration for this care question opens a care process. A care program contains data on the most important diagnosis. One or more DBC pathways are part of a health care process. A DBC trajectory (also known as DBC for short) is a part of a care pathway defined for declaration purposes and contains data such as duration, type of care, typical diagnosis and declaration data. The basis of this dataset is the trajectory file: in the provided health profile file and diagnosis file are the care pathways and diagnoses associated with trajectories with a start date in the reference year. The maximum duration of a DBC is 365 days. The care activities that have been carried out in a process are in the provided care profile file. Together with the associated care activities, the DBC trajectory forms the basis for the declaration of a DBC care product. The route file indicates which specific care product is involved (variable product group code). Finally, there are 'other operations ' (OVV 's) which can be declared separately from the DBC system. The OVV file therefore contains operations within the second line or specialised GGZ that are outside the DBC system and therefore cannot be linked to a DBC trajectory. This represents 97.7 % of the DBC trajectories registered in DIS and other operations in 2014. This link is based on pseudonyms based on Citizen Service Number (BSN) or the combination of date of birth, gender and zip code. As a Person ID, the variable RINPERSOON is added to the files, a meaningless and dimensionless number, which can be used to link to other CBS SSB files. In the trajectory file there is a raised weight with which the (linked to the BRP) trajectories can be increased to all trajectories as declared to the health insurers. The care activities associated with the trajectories in the provided care profile file can also be increased with the increased weight of the relevant route if desired. ### Population All persons for whom at least one operation in the second line or specialised mental health care has been carried out outside the DBC system during the reference year and who have been in the DPA at any time.
