Dataset description

This SSB component contains data on benefits under the General Child Benefit Act (AKW). These are AKW benefits that are primo during the reporting period. For these benefits, entitlement continues to exist during the quarter, provided that the child does not generate his own income himself. The AKW is a national insurance scheme and regulates the financial compensation for insured persons who care for and raise children. The insured person is entitled to family allowances for his own children, step and foster children up to the age of 18, which he cares for and maintains. The AKW means a &gkind ' a child who is maintained and raised as one’s own child. Depending on the child’s income and/or the level of maintenance, the insured will receive single (once) or double (twice) child benefit. The insured person does not necessarily have to be equal to the legal parent according to the KINDOUDERJJJJJJJTABVV of team demographics. In practice, for no more than a few percent of children enrolled in the GBA and can be found in the KINDOUDERJJJJJTABVV, one or both caregivers differ from the legal parents according to the KINDOUDERJJJJJJTABVV. When parents live together, they decide who the child benefit is paid to. If the parents cannot agree, the first applicant will go ahead. In the case of a simultaneous application, the alphabetical order of the own surnames is decisive. If the first letter of those surnames is the same, the youngest applicant will go ahead. In other situations, where there are two rightholders, the right of the person caring for the child precedes. This is relevant for divorce, for example. If there is no care provider (e.g. a child in rooms), the child benefit is paid to the person who contributes most to the maintenance of the child. It may therefore occur in this component that the Person ID of carer1 is equal to the Person ID of nurturing 2. This means that only that person is entitled. An insured person who forms a household with his children abroad may receive child benefit. Even if the insured person lives in the Netherlands, but the child lives abroad, an insured person may be entitled to child benefit. This can only be done if certain requirements are met and when a child lives in an EU/EEA country, Switzerland or other treaty countries. ### Population The population of the component consists of all children for whom an AKW benefit has been claimed, the entitlement of which runs throughout the quarter. For the right to family allowances for a quarter, the situation on the first day of the quarter is decisive, this is the so-called reference date. If changes occur during the quarter in the situation of the insured person or child (e.g. if the child turns 18), the right to child assistance remains unchanged in that quarter. The entity is (unique) children. For each child, the RINPERSOONS/RINPERSOON combinations of both carers are included. The SVB registration is based on the actual number of children for whom child benefit has been granted to the insured person. From this registration, the number of AKW benefits can be derived by determining the caregiver(s) of each child. By aggregating on the RINPERSOONS/RINPERSOON combinations of both carers, the number of AKW benefits can be derived. This includes cases where the RINPERSOONS/RINPERSOON combinations of both caregivers are unknown. Child benefit starts in the quarter after birth. If the child is born on 12 April, there is a right to child benefit from the third quarter. The SVB will pay the child benefit when the quarter is over, in this case at the beginning of October. If a child was born on the first day of a quarter, the insured will receive child benefit already in that quarter.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
