Guests in Dutch accommodation, numbers of guests and their overnight stays by country of origin per province and by type (from 01-01-2014)

The file contains the characteristics of operating data of Dutch accommodation accommodation. For each type of accommodation, the number of guests and their overnight stays will be described. The data can be broken down by country of origin the type of accommodation and by region & #039; such as: total Netherlands, parts of the country, provinces, major cities and tourist areas. All large companies and chains are always included in the sample. Imputation of missing data occurs if necessary a.d.h. data from last year or a.d.h. of distribution keys. Increase occurs by a ratio estimator per type, size class and region. ### Population Population includes Dutch accommodation accommodation, this population is actively maintained by CBS.Main sources for this are the trade register (SBI class 55), farms with accommodation accommodation and various internet sources such as websites of chain companies, the Vekabo and Vakantieadres.nl. For each type of accommodation, lower limits are maintained. The population includes hotels with 5 beds or more, campsites with a minimum of 4 tourist pitches, bungalow parks and group accommodations with a minimum of 10 berths
