Jobs and wages based on the Police Administration (15-03-2022 – 17-02-2023)

This database contains quantitative and qualitative data on jobs and wages of employees in Dutch companies for a given reporting year or part of a reporting year. The definition of &job & the basis of this file is an income ratio (IKVID) in connection with the employment of an employer with a person. A person can have multiple income ratios per employer at the same time.This component, where the job key is the income ratio (IKVID), is available from reporting year 2010. The policy component is also available for the reporting years 2006 to 2009: here the track key is BAANRUGID and is the name of the component POLISJJJJJBUSVV.From 2015 onwards, in addition to the version with final annual data, versions of cumulative preliminary monthly data will appear. In principle, all versions of V011 to V123 contain preliminary data. The last month of the report therefore contains very preliminary data (see also methodology used). PLEASE NOTE: When using the data, please take into account the current status of the figures.For more information on this see Methodology.The policy files also contain data of foreign employees who are subject to the Dutch tax system and have to pay payroll tax.The Polisfiles are a successor to the Survey of Workers and Lonen (EWL). The EWL is a sample, the Polis files are the result of integral observation. Due to differences in methodology, these files cannot be compared. With effect from the 2010 reporting year, the method of demarcation from the Police Administration has been changed. This method change has been implemented, as research has shown that around 1 % of the total number of jobs were not taken into account when selecting jobs from the source data. The new method will take these jobs with you. These additional jobs are generally balanced across industries. The vast majority of these jobs are jobs without employee insurance; about one third are directors-major shareholders with their own company. As of reporting year 2010, the new job population will be used. Volunteers will only be included in the Polis if their remuneration exceeds the exemption standard. CBS filters the courses from this by looking at the characteristics and pattern of the tasks. In this way, the records remain within the job definition. This is the case if there is an employer-employee authority relationship and paid work is carried out for at least one hour per week. Because the records in the Police Administration are usually over a period of one month or four weeks, the delimitation of jobs that must be done within the period of at least 4 hours of paid employment.The data in this file refer to a calendar year or a number of cumulative months of a calendar year. The statements per record (per revenue statement) relate to the period between SDATUMAANVANGIKO and SDATUMEINDEIKO. This is the overlap between the reporting month and the IKVID reporting period. The reporting period is usually a month or four weeks. In the case of a declaration period of one month, the period of the record if the track does not start or ends corresponds to the declaration period. For a declaration period of four weeks, there are often two (sometimes three) records per IKVID per month, because there are several declaration periods of four weeks in one month.The general quality of the data is indicated as follows (see the standard SSB documentation):B Views at total or meso level,D Partly viewed, used as auxiliary variables to correct another variable,N Not viewed, not edited and not used.In the standard SSB documentation of the spolis component, the quality for which variable applies in the relevant year is indicated.From 2015 there will also be versions of this component with cumulative monthly files with provisional data. The most recent month in these provisional monthly files has the status of very provisional (V1). The previous month the status is provisional (V2) and the remaining months the status is more provisional (R3). If months have the status more provisional, the data will no longer change until the final data (V4) appear. The naming of the files shows the version of the last month. So SPOLIS2010BUSV101 contains Polisdata from January to August 2010 of the year 2010 with status V3, September 2010 data with status V2 and October 2010 data with status V1.The history document of the component contains more information on current status of (months in) a given version and on the quantity of missing data of the different versions. Keep this in mind when using the data. In addition, the SSB standard documentation shows the evolution of the number of records per day. The Polis file is checked at sbi-section level. When publishing at a more detailed level, the user must check the plausibility per SBI level. Because of its provisional nature, version 1 is less useful for the analysis of small, specific populations. ### Population Jobs of employees in the Netherlands.
