Contains the municipality of residence and the 4-digit postal code on 1 January of the year and the municipality of residence on 31 December preceding that year of persons who are legally established population of the Netherlands as of 1 January of the year. This file is intended to generate publications in which the population must correspond exactly to the statutory population per municipality as of 1 January of a year. ### Population The legally established population is determined by determining, with a reference date of 15 February, the population registered in a municipality as of 1 January.
