School pupils and students in a calendar year (from 01-01-1999)

This file contains all persons who are pupils or students in the reference year, including the start and end dates of the programme(s) and, if available, specific characteristics of that programme(s) such as the training number (detailed typing of training) and the study phase. More information on how to access the data: > https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen ### Methodology Sources: educational registrations with enrolment data for primary education (WPO), special education (WEC), secondary education (VO), secondary general adult education (VAVO), secondary vocational education (MBO), higher education (HO), and files with recipients of study funding from the Dutch government (WSF). For each period, data is included in the highest current training. For STUDERENDENBUSSEN 1999-2003 we impromptu for 4 to 17 year olds from the GBA population, if no data on them were found in the above-mentioned sources. The supplement mainly concerns pupils in primary education, (secondary) special education and MBO. From STUDERENDENBUS 2004 we will only imputer for the 4 to 16-year-olds from the GBA population because of the availability of MBO education registration. As of STUDERENDENBUS 2014V2, imputering for the 4 to 16-year-olds from the GBA population is much less widespread due to the availability of information on primary and special education. ### Population Pupils/students in government-funded education, or with study funding from the Dutch government (WSF) in other educational institutions (possibly abroad). Students & 16 years in private or foreign education without WSF are missing.
