<p>The data includes measurements of the magnetic field measured by three-axis magnetic field sensors for various marker positions. The measurements were conducted for simulated disturbances as well as without them.</p> <p>The data is supplemented with images of feet against a pattern taken using a mobile app. Based on these, the dimensions of the feet were calculated.</p> <p>Project Summary:</p> <p>An innovative children's shoe fitting system aims to facilitate the selection of the correct shoe size for children, especially up to the age of 4, who due to perceptual and communication barriers have difficulty determining the fit of the shoe. Another significant factor limiting access to appropriate footwear is the rapid growth of a child's foot, necessitating constant monitoring of foot dimensions. The system will make it easier for parents to shop in both physical and online stores. The system will consist of four components: an innovative solution for measuring the inside of the shoe, a mobile app for measuring the foot, a foot-to-shoe matching system with a database of shoes, and a module for predicting the growth of a child's foot. The key component of the system will be the shoe interior measurement system, which will rely on an innovative method of passive imaging using adaptive markers.</p>
