Public Employment Statistics Bulletin

BOEP (Public Employment Statistical Bulletin) is a biannual publication by which the Directorate-General for Administration and Public Employment (DGAEP) disseminates data, indicators and statistical analyses on public employment in the context of labour market statistics. In the new BOEP series, from number 07 onwards, the information made available is complementary to the summary information published quarterly in SIEP – Synthesis Statistics on Public Employment. The information provided focuses on the universe of entities that compose the general government sector from the perspective of national accounting and on all companies and other public entities or majority-owned by the public sector that compose the subsectors of public financial and non-financial corporations, consistent with the respective universe defined by the National Institute of Statistics, IP. The set of data and statistical characterisation indicators presented use as a privileged source the information on employment collected through the Information System of the State Organization (SIOE) of DGAEP, in parallel with other sources produced by national and international statistical entities. In each Excel file and in the sheet “General _ Notes” you will find a link to the full publication in PDF format where there is a chapter on “Technical Notes” with references on the universe, processing and validation of data and main concepts.
