General State Account – Revenue by economic classification

From the General State Account (CGE) for 2021, the CGE is delivered to the Assembly of the Republic until May 15 of the year following that to which it reports. The respective data are made available during the month following that delivery, i.e. in the course of June. The data sources are the systems of the Directorate-General for Budget. The data are presented from a consolidated and public accounting perspective – i.e. they cover the revenue to be received in the year – not including off-budget operations. The economic classification is a regulatory framework for monitoring the budgetary execution of government revenue from an economic perspective. The classification of government revenue shall specify it by chapter. The data cover all public entities within the perimeter of the Central Administration each year.
