Budget of the Republic of Slovenia

The budget of the Republic of Slovenia is a legal act adopted by the National Assembly in accordance with a special, prescribed procedure. In the state budget, we show the estimated revenue and expenditure of the state for one year. The budget of the Republic of Slovenia consists of a general part, a special part and a plan of development programmes. The first, the general part of the budget, provides information on how the state collects revenues and how it spends them. Who spends the funds and for which programme areas is indicated in a separate section of the budget. As the third part of the budget, the development programme plan presents individual projects of budget users for their entire duration. Budget classifications are defined in the budget to show how we spend the budget, by whom and for what purposes.
