The Register of Spatial Units is an integrated database with locational and descriptive data on addresses and spatial units (spatial districts, settlements, municipalities, postal districts, administrative units, statistical regions, school districts, narrow sections of municipalities (town districts, local communities, village districts), regional geodetic administrations, units for national assembly elections (state assembly constituencies, national assembly constituencies, national assembly polling stations) and units for local elections (local constituencies, local polling stations), streets and house numbers. The following data on spatial units shall be entered in the Register of Spatial Units: the species; the identification number; the name, where specified; boundaries and surface. The following street information is entered in the Register of Spatial Units: the name; the identification number; the geolocation. A house number with geolocation is also entered in the Register of Spatial Units.
