Dataset description

In the external environment, cultural heritage monuments are exposed to several natural and anthropogenic factors. Which leads to their deterioration. Growing urbanisation and mass tourism are worsening the situation; Tourism is also an important tool for strengthening and preserving cultural heritage, in particular through modern information and communication technologies, These provide additional opportunities to engage visitors (Ismagilova et al. 2015, Ursache 2015). In addition, there is a trend Unifying experiences for visitors to cultural heritage sites (Cirulis et al. 2015, Xu et al. 2017), including locational or geolocation games (Maia et al. 2017). To better understand the perceptions and values of different visitor groups in terms of cultural heritage and developed a strategy for the inclusion of target groups in heritage conservation, were carried out in two Slovenian cities Four focus groups.
