Dataset description

The Monitoring System consists of 24 automatic remote stations that collect the basic information for atmospheric monitoring. They have the necessary analyzers for the correct measurement of gas and particulate levels. Remote stations are of several types: Urban background : Representatives of the exposure of the urban population in general. Of traffic : Located in such a way that their level of pollution is mainly influenced by emissions from a nearby street or road, but very small microenvironments in their vicinity should be avoided. Suburban s: They are located on the outskirts of the city, in the places where the highest levels of ozone are found. Other air quality datasets are also available on this portal: Air quality: Timetable data since 2001 Air quality: Daily data since 2001 Air quality: Real-time data You can also find more information about this data in the Transparency Portal > Air . Notice: Since 1 May 2022, the following equipment has been decommissioned from the air quality monitoring network: 1 carbon monoxide (CO) analyser located at station E18 Farolillo. 1 sulphur dioxide (SO2) analyser at station E57 Sanchinarro.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
