Network of Trails of the Valencian Community

The Valencian territory currently has 5,000 km of trails approved by the Federació d'Esports de Muntanya i Escalada de la Comunitat Valenciana, in collaboration with the Generalitat and with the promoters who signal and maintain them (city halls and hiking centers, mainly). Once registered in the Public Register of Trails of the Valencian Community, the trails become part of the Network of Trails of the Valencian Community, supervised by the Ministry of Environment, Water, Infrastructure and Territory. The cartography symbolizes the paths by typology: - Grand Tour (GR). They are roads of great length, always more than 50 kms. They are signposted with the colors white and red. They have an estimated duration on foot of more than two days. They are labeled: GR+space+number. The Generalitat Valenciana promotes, signs and maintains the GR 7 and GR 10. - Small Tour (PR): They are traced between 10 and 50 kms. They are marked with the colors white and yellow. They can be completed in one or two days maximum. They are labeled: PR+script+territorial code+space+number. - Local Trails (SL): They are sections of distances of less than 10 kms. They are signposted with the colors white and green. They are labeled: SL+script+territorial code+space+number.
