Dataset description

This table provides monthly, quarterly and annual data, since 2012, on the number of companies registered with Social Security according to aggregations of economic activities, employee intervals and places where the company was created. Monthly data are available from May 2020, as data were previously received quarterly. Company data for the Canary Islands are taken into account. The companies that are registered with workers in high, in the General Regime and the Special Regime of the Mining of Coal, the last day of the month are counted. In this case, natural persons are not counted. The place of creation indicates the autonomous community of creation of the company, which is obtained taking into account the second and third digits of the NIF, which indicate the province of creation of the company.
