Gothenburg Art Collection (Gothenburg Art)

This dataset publishes information about the artworks in the Gothenburg Art Collection. The collection currently consists of about 10,000 artworks that are placed in art collections at workplaces within the City of Gothenburg, so-called movable art. Due to licensing costs, we are unfortunately unable to publish images of the artworks, images of individual works can be sent on request. The data set is updated in February/March each year. The data set contains information about works purchased in accordance with Göteborg Konst's purchasing routines, but also take-overs from other municipal companies and administrations, as well as gifts during the period when these were accepted. The aim is to give citizens insight into our collection and to share information about our collection with other cultural institutions.
