Dataset description

This pack contains barrier maps for road and rail incl. potential passages for larger mammals. Details of the barrier maps for larger mammals can be found in the following report: http://trafikverket.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:1364535/FULLTEXT01.pdf The package contains both vector data (geopackage) and a common lyr file for Esri users and a style file for Qgis users. Open the lyre file ("Barriaranalys.lyr") in ARCGIS to load all data layers with the proposed layout. In Qgis, start Qgis and drag in the style file and it starts with the right symbology. Content --------------------------- All layers are located in a common geopackage file called Barriaranalys.gpkg. This includes the following geopackage layers: 1) "Barriaranalys_2024.lyr" loads all other layers and controls the layout of the maps (should be opened first if you use Esri) 2) "Barriaranalys_2024_qgis.qlr" loads all other layers and controls the layout of the maps (should be opened first if you use Qgis) 3) Effect area for potential passages at road "Effect area_passager_vag" = Circles illustrating the theoretical barrier dissolving effect distance of the passages. This distance can be 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 meters depending on how high functionality the passage is potentially expected to achieve. 4) Road barrier sections: "Barriers_vag_oklippt" = Road sections that constitute barriers according to a number of criteria. 5) Remaining road barrier: "Barriers_remaining_vag" = The road barrier sections that remain after sections within the effect distance of passages and within agglomerations have been excluded. 6) Power range of potential rail passages: "Effect area _passages_jvg" = Circles illustrating the theoretical barrier dissolving effect distance of the passages. This distance can be 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 meters depending on how high functionality the passage is potentially expected to achieve. 7) Railway barrier sections: "Barriers_jvg_oklippt" = Railway sections that constitute barriers according to a number of criteria. 8) Remaining railway barrier: "Barriers_remaining_jvg" = The railway barrier sections that remain after sections within the power distance of passengers and within agglomerations have been excluded. 9) Potential passages in 2024: "Potential _ passages_2024" = Passages on barrier sections with potential for passages. These include all the passage points used to create layers 3 and 6, as well as the passage points assessed to have a function below 10% but not excluded in the selection process. 9) Urban buffer: "Agglomerations_50mBuffert" = Agglomeration layer from SCB with a buffer of 50 meters.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
