Dataset description
External borders of felling-notified areas. Notification to the Swedish Forest Agency is made at; regeneration felling, felling for purposes other than timber production, extraction of forest fuel, use of foreign tree species, protection ditch and for consultation on measures that significantly change the natural environment. In some cases, a permit is required. Since 1998 the map figure has been available digitally. Notifications that are valid (maximum 5 years) where a maximum of 75 % is harvested are displayed.
