Dataset description
The source archive contains information on a total of just over 2000 sources (i.e. natural groundwater effluents), preferably along the larger rollerstone sauces in Sweden. The product contains information on the location, flow, aquifer type and to a certain extent water quality, etc. Sources can be of great importance for specific biotopes and in many cases have a major cultural historical significance. The information can be used, among other things, to select sampling points for chemical characterisation of groundwater or for environmental monitoring.
