<p>The National Trust Limited Access data shows areas where access is restricted for at least one of the following reasons:</p><ol><li>The land is enclosed as part of a National Trust Estate.</li><li>Access is restricted to a dense path network.</li><li>There are specific reasons the land is not Always Open e.g. Safety concerns.</li></ol><p>Footpaths and bridleways may cross areas of Limited Access land - the Limited Access designation does not impact upon this access.</p><p>Areas shown as Limited Access may contain areas such as buildings, gardens and cropped fields where no access is permitted.
