Community Forestry Trees and Planting Areas

Location of individual trees and groups of trees planted since 2019 by the Sheffield City Council Community Forestry team. Please note, this is a planting record and not a current record of where trees are in the city. The Community Forestry team at Sheffield City Council have been planting trees with the city's communities for over 20 years. This map shows all groups of trees planted by the Community Forestry team since September 2019. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure this data is accurate, locations and sizes can be approximate. It is normal to expect losses when planting so sadly not all of these trees will have survived. In general, the older the data the less likely it is to be accurate. In particular, planting dates prior to the 21-22 season cannot be relied upon - these trees were planted in the season stated, but not likely on the specific date recorded.
