Estonian 3D rooftops LoD1-2 dataset

The 3D models of rooftops are created from the point cloud of aerolaser scanning and from the data of the Estonian Topographic Database (ETAK) rooftops by automatic processing. Predominantly, 3D models under the roof have a more detailed LoD2 shape. Spatial shapes (in GDB and CityGML format) shall contain the following attribute data: • etak_id - Unique identifier of the ETC object • lod1_Change Time - 3D Spatial Shape Creation Time • etak_change time - time of last change of object in ETAK 2D data • tyyp - object type in ETAK • als_Year - ALS data year used to create 3D spatial shape • Leverage_ Source - The Method Used to Create 3D Spatial Shape New 3D shapes for rooftops are calculated in today's workflow once a year (in the first quarter of the calendar year) from ALS point clouds collected in spring and low flight. Attributes of existing spatial shapes are updated a few times a year as necessary, as well as 3D rooftops that have been removed from ETC data are deleted from the data periodically disseminated.
